Universit de Lyon > international > International cooperation

International Alliance

The International Alliance is an innovative initiative for international cooperation created by the Avenir Lyon Saint-Étienne Programme (PALSE) of the Université de Lyon. Comprising a dozen universities distributed among 5 strategic geographic zones, the International Alliance seeks to construct an integrated platform for training and research.
This unique cooperative partnership is founded upon strong, historic ties, a certain scientifi c and economic dynamism, and skills and expertise shared among carefully selected zones.
Constructing an international network of chosen, complementary universities, encouraging and assisting innovative projects, and creating links with the cultural, economic and political sectors: such are the main pillars of the International Alliance.
These new partnerships rely upon a solid ensemble of cooperative tools, as well as a mutualisation of means, and act as the impetus for dynamic, attractive initiatives contributing to the creation of long-lasting relations.
