The Chinese delegation was composed of Zhigang YUAN (Director of Academic Committee of ECNU, Professor at Fudan University), Jiaxun HE (Deputy Director of FEM, Chinese Dean of Asia Europe Business School , ECNU), Guohua REN (Council Chairman of FEM, ECNU), Jianfei WU (Head of the Office of Foreign Affairs, FEM, ECNU), Xiaoyan LIU (Program Officer of the International Exchange Division, ECNU).
ECNU is one of the founding members of the International Alliance of the Université de Lyon. Since 2010, the representative office of the Université de Lyon in Shanghai has been established in ECNU facilities. ECNU and emlyon business school have already built a strong partnership and developed innovative projects especially in the field of management sciences such as the creation of the Asia Europe Business School that has been inaugurated in September 2016. During these three days, the delegation had the opportunity to meet and exchange with influent actors from the Lyon Saint-Étienne area specialized in economics and management sciences.
On January 18th, the Nouvel Institut Franco-Chinois hosted a meeting with representatives from the IDEXLYON project and ENS Lyon as well as coordinators from iaelyon School of management of the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, IAE of the Université Jean Monnet Saint-Étienne, Beelys program (fostering student entrepreneurship) and MAELYSE (federative research structure). In the afternoon, after a lecture held by Professor Yuan, on the following topic "Reform of the Retirement System in China", the delegation exchanged views with researchers from the GATE Laboratory (Analysis and Economic Theory Group).
Eventually, on January 19th, iaelyon School of management of the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 welcomed the Chinese partners. Peter Wirtz (Vice-President, Research at the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3) presented the actions implemented by the Doctoral School of Economics and Management to the delegation.
